Who is Jewels of Life?

There are gems within all of us that enrich our lives and the lives of those around us. Jewels of Life is committed to providing interdisciplinary training and guidance during your journey to discover and explore each one.

Animal Kneads is a wondrous extension into our animal kingdom through a connection and partnership with horses, dogs and wild animals. When our expressions or desires become challenging, the animals have an unconditional way of fulfilling our kneads.

Certification Program

The Jewels of Life Certification Program trains you with a comprehensive collection of massage techniques and Eastern philosophy energy therapies to begin mastering the art of correlative healing between people and animals. The 6 month program is a combination of classroom learning, hands-on-training , and clinical/apprenticeship hours that can be completed in 6 months — 1 year.

A group of up to twelve (12) participants will attend training sessions, one weekend (sat/sun) per month for 6 months. Students will complete the clinical/apprenticeship hours in between trainings, in addition to assigned reading and practice exercises from the monthly training sessions. This multi-dimensional program will guide you toward a unique training experience, combining Eastern/Western philosophy with synergistic human/animal healing modalities.

Personal Commitment and Letter of Intention

I have given careful thought as to the high degree of time, energetic, emotional, mental, and economic commitment that this program requires. In addition to the weekend training sessions, I am prepared to explore all outside reading and clinical hours with passionate depth, focused intention, and humble integrity. Should the intensity of the work bring my own issues to the surface, I promise to reach out and communicate with my mentor, fellow participants and /or someone of professional expertise who can help identify triggers or behavior patterns that would compromise my commitment to myself or this program.

I am coming to this program with a level of maturity that allows me to be open to integrating the gifts of both worlds: learning to ground intuitive, empathic, and universal insights into everyday reality and learning to relate to others in an authentic community.

I understand that we will be exploring our ability to connect with animals on multiple levels and within different dimensions. I am committed to learning the holistic/alternative techniques that this program offers with an open mind and high level of enthusiasm.

I am aware that animals have the ability to mirror hidden emotions, physical dysfunctions, and human incongruities. I commit to learning how to handle this information when clients are present and separating what may pertain to me. There is a fine line between being real and being professional.

I am committed to seeking outside experiences and maintaining a level of fitness and good health to meet the rigorous demands of this program.
